|Julie Christie's London home 1968.|
After seeing the artist's children's room published in Queen magazine
Julie wanted a similar Alice in Wonderland fantasy for her South Kensington
countryish styled home (stripped pine and turn of the century hippy glass everywhere)
All levels of the stairwell were drenched in lush foliage like climbing high
into the sky through the trees. Down the rabbit hole /spiral staircase to folksy
kitchen and dining space.
This project led to embellishing the Great Gear Trading Company in the Kings
Road which in turn led to designing Fiorucci's first store in Milan,
this was cloned globally for the next ten years.
